CPOE Physician Incentives – Survey Results
Survey:
A non-scientific survey of Health Information Technology (HIT) Experts, Consultants and Hospital Leadership about Physician Incentives used in the community to encourage MD involvement in training for new Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) activations.
Purpose:
To determine the prevalance and obtain a sampling of types of MD incentives used for CPOE Training efforts.
Sample:
Convienience sampling of Health Information Technology Experts, Consultants and Hospital Leadership accessed by by email and by list serve in late July and early August 2010.

- Responses: 23 from List Serve; 15 from Email
- Sample Size: 38 Respondants
- Representing: ~140 Hospital Organizations
