CARING Members -
A quick update to remind you about this year’s Summer Institute in Nursing Informatics (aka…SINI). This is the 18th year of this event, hosted by the University of Maryland School of Nursing. Dates are July 16 to 19th (with pre-conf 14th-16th).
The theme of this year’s SINI is “Building Connections for Patient Centered Records” and includes keynotes by Stanlie Daniels, RN, Acting Deputy Chief Officer, Director, Strategic Planning and Measurement, Office of Patient Care Services, Veterans Health Administration and Patricia Flatley Brennan, PhD, RN, FAAN, FACMI, Moehlman Bascom Professor, School of Nursing and College of Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Madison, National Program Director, Project Health Design.
Call for abstracts is now open, with a deadline of March 17th. Visit our CARING website for more details and program brochure.
Lastly, don’t forget that we will once again host a CARING meet & greet dinner on the Friday evening of SINI (July 18th). Arrangements are in the last stages of being finalized, so watch your in-boxes for more details.
