InterSystems Corporation Acquires TrakHealth
Healthcare Technology Leader Expands Global Market Penetration with Addition of Independent Subsidiary

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–InterSystems Corporation today announced it has acquired Australia-based TrakHealth. An application partner of InterSystems since 1991, TrakHealth develops and markets TrakCare, an enterprise-level web-based health information system deployed in 25 countries. TrakHealth will operate as an independent subsidiary of InterSystems, with its own sales force.

InterSystems is a leading provider of innovative database and integration software. Its product line includes the InterSystems CACHÉ® high performance object database, InterSystems Ensemble® rapid integration platform, and InterSystems HealthShare™ platform for regional and national electronic health records. All of the top 10 U.S. hospitals, as ranked by US News and World Report, are InterSystems clients.

In making today’s announcement, InterSystems CEO Terry Ragon said, “This union of InterSystems and TrakHealth will increase our global prominence and open up major new sales opportunities in international markets.
