Nursing…it’s more than a job

Just chiming in. Our nursing workforce in my Emergency department is 65% male. They seem to enjoy their work, and I enjoy working with them, as they tend to bring a new perspective to the work…and frankly, less gossip!

Thank you for your comments. It would be great if we can get more male nurses to join other specialties, other than ED or ICU which they all seem to gravitate towards.
